Phill Bailey continued the Wildcats’ decathlon dominance at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships Friday on the campus of Grand Valley State University.
Bailey took fourth place in the decathlon with 7,192 points, giving the Wildcats at least one All-American in that event for the sixth straight season.
His personal record time of 14.47 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles is the second fastest time in school history and propelled him into position to challenge for the title.
He finished just 233 points out of the lead and only 30 points out of third place.
